Mattilda Bernstein Sycamore is the editor the anthologies Nobody Passes: Rejecting the Rules of Gender and Conformity (Seal) and That’s Revolting: Queer Stratedgies for Resisting Assimilation (Soft Skull), she is also the author of Pulling Taffy and now So Many Ways to Sleep Badly (City Lights). Mattilda is also a regular contributor to Bitch, Maximumrocknroll, Utne Reader among other periodicals. Hal Niedzviecki is the founding editor of Broken Pencil, author of Hello I’m Special (Penguin Canada) a study of the repositioning of ‘alternative’ and ‘indie’ culture, the novels Lurvy (Coach House) and The Program (Random Canada), as well the editor of several fiction anthologies and urban guides.

Stacey May Fowles is the author of the recently published novel Be Good (Tightrope) and is a regular contributor to Shameless Magazine, Kiss Machine, and subTERRAIN. She is also represented in the anthology Nobody Passes.

Tara-Michelle Ziniuk is an activist poet, playwright and performer, a contributor to the anthologies Geeks, Missfits and Outlaws (McGilligan), Nobody Passes (Seal), Best Lesbian Erotica (Cleis Press)& the author of Emergency Contact (McGilligan), as well as a contributor to Fireweed, Clamor and THIS magazine.

Sanda Alland is a Toronto poet and performer (though recently on a sojourn in Scotland), she is the author of Proof of a Tongue (McGilligan) and Blissful Times (BookThug), as well as the editor and publisher (under the
imprint sandraslittlebookshop) of the poetry anthology Some Poems by People I Like.
